COVID-19 UPDATE
Van Meter, IA Scouting Troop 120
Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have changed the format of our meetings and outings by added more health and safety procedures.
Before Meeting or Outings
Before attending a meeting we ask all scouts to take their temperature. If you or a family member's temperature is over 100.3° we ask scouts to not attend the meeting. If a scout or family member has a temperature, loss of taste or smell, chills, coughing, or any other symptoms we ask the scout(s) to not attend the meeting or outing.
During Meeting or Outings
At the beginning of every meeting, all meeting attendees will be required to sanitize their hands. During the meeting, all scouts will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask or facial covering.
Post Meeting or Outings
If a scout or family member begins showing symptoms after a scout meeting or outing we ask that the family would communicate to the Scout Master (see contacts page). If a scout or family member of a scout has tested positive the troop will communicate appropriately with scout's family's.
